ADIDAS and OAMC’s collaborations usually take inspiration from high-performance running sneakers, so the Type O-8 is somewhat of an anomaly. It’s still sporting, but it’s closer in appearance to those indoor handball models from the ‘70s — the ones often seen on the terraces.
